Michelle Meszaros

I transitioned my love of yoga into teaching and opening up a studio. I studied yoga with DevaTree School of Yoga and am an RYT 200, Registered Children's Yoga Teacher, and Restorative and Subtle Energy body graduate. I am also a certified Reiki Practitioner. I am an avid book worm, want to be nerd and believe that the world is a beautiful place full of amazing people.

Jennifer Surerus

I fell in love with yoga when I was 19- I completed my first certification in 2004-2005 at The Lotus Centre after having moved to London and I have been teaching ever since. I continued my education at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto and certified in their 750 hour programme. I am unendingly interested in our bodies- their histories, their function. My students continue to teach me and push me to learn and grow as a teacher. I am a certified Birth Doula, a certified Masseuse (specializing in Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Hot Stone), a Reiki Master Teacher and owner of The Peaceful Path, where I am privileged to share what I love with my community. I live in St. Thomas with my wonderful husband!

Tara Beattie

Namaste fellow yogis! 

I'm Tara, and I found yoga after a few life choices led me nowhere to go but up. From the first time I stepped on my mat in 2009,  I knew my next goal was to make others feel the way I had that day.  So,  in 2011 I went to college for fitness and nutrition,  and in 2015, I obtained my 200 hour yoga teacher training certification.  I'm now humbled and privileged to be able to share yoga with others,  as words cannot even begin to express the benefits practice has to offer on and off the mat. Come feel the joy that your mind,  body,  and spirit truly deserve.  You deserve it.

Amy Kean

It took going through the most traumatic time of my life to discover that I loved and needed yoga in my life to ground and centre me.  I am a certified CYT 200 from  DevaTree and I can tell you that this journey  has changed my entire outlook for the better.  My goal is to share the beauty of yoga with others, in the hopes that the tools they learn can help them as they go through life's ups and downs too.  I'm so excited to positively impact others and help them remember how to enJoy life and lighten their load.

Beth De Souza

I first began my daily yoga practice  in 2015 to help manage with my anxiety. I quickly fell in love with the emotional, mental, and physical aspects of it. My personal practice led me to Devatree in 2016 where I began a RYT-200 hour teacher. I am so excited to begin teaching and to be a part of the Joy Yoga Team!
